Inspiration
I find the photography of Mari Eriksson to be inspirational. In its quiet beauty, it evokes memories of another time, a time when days didn't fly by, when phones didn't ring incessantly, when languid afternoons and summer nights softly tip toed by at a slower pace. Her work doesn't demand or command, it softly whispers on the wind till I take notice, and then it's too late. I'm inspired.
Living in a complicated and fast paced world, many of us are yearning for simplicity. That doesn't mean sacrificing value - quite the contrary. When we strip away the clutter in our lives, we are left with that which matters most. At the end of the day, when we close our door on the cacophony of the outside world, we are looking for peace, family and friends, a refuge that brings order to chaos, refreshes the spirit and fills the well. This place is dedicated to that end. I hope those who visit this place will glean small ideas from its daily offerings of healthy recipes, beautifully decorated rooms, useful tips, and informative links. My most fervent wish is that you leave with something of value, something that reminds you to savor the simplicity that can reside in the smallest details. Thank you for dropping by. Please, come again.
