Okay, let's just say it. The bed is the star of the show in this room, and while we're at it, let's admit that this room could belong to a girl as well as a boy, but the color scheme makes it perfect for a boy.

Sh! I'll tell you a secret. This is really a master bedroom, but I think its playful nature makes it perfect for a boy. The touches of black make it sophisticated enough to take him from kindergarten through college. Kids rooms are often made up of odd pieces of furniture that have no common origin. Paint can not be overestimated in its ability to unify.
And here we have another room that will take a boy all the way through the teen years. No primary colors can be found here. You can either choose a striped bedspread to inspire the wall color, or choose a wonderful wall color, and go with a solid comforter in a complimentary color.
